Director : Vinatha M Reddy
Ms. Reddy has been involved in the field of development since 1995. Prior to this, she was a Montessori-trained teacher, working in Taraporewalla AMI House of Children, Hyderabad. After moving to Bangalore, she started a rural-based Montessori school called “Gurukul.”
Since 1996, Ms. Reddy has been focused on microcredit, studying the Grameen Bank model. Additionally, she has also studied ASA (Activists for Social Alternatives) and SHARE (Society for Helping Awakening Rural Poor through Education), the two leading Grameen replicators in India. In 1998, she attended the Grameen International Dialogue Program in Dhaka, a two-week immersion training course on Grameen methodology. Thereafter, she submitted to the Grameen Trust a pilot-phase project proposal, which was immediately accepted for seed capital funding. Grameen Koota was started in 1999. Ms. Reddy has attended several seminars and training programs on microcredit and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs). She has guided Grameen Koota through a successful pilot phase and is now looking at strategies to expand its outreach in rural Karnataka. She has attended the Microcredit Summit Conferences in New York City, Delhi, and Dhaka.
Ms. Reddy remains committed to making Grameen Koota a financially sustainable institution, while reaching out to the poorest sections of society, especially empowering women and ensuring a measurable impact on poverty. |

Managing Director : Suresh K. K.
Mr. Suresh has a background in teaching and entered the field of development in 1997. He had previously worked in a NGO which focused on micro enterprise development, non-formal education, and the promotion of women Self Help Groups.
He joined Grameen Koota in 1999 as the first employee and has studied and observed the nuances of microcredit at SKS (Swayam Krishi Sangham), SHARE (Society for Helping Awakening Rural Poor through Education), ASA (Activists for Social Alternatives) and CFTS. Undertook Grameen Basics training at Grameen Bank, Dhaka. Mr. Suresh has attended numerous national and international conferences and seminars and trained in the following: Life-Cycle Approach to Market Research, held at the Indian School of Microfinance for Women in Ahmedabad, Finance Management, Accounts Management, Risk Management, Delinquency Management by EDA rural systems, Personal Management at ASCII, Hyderabad, Performance Management by IRMA, Anand. Additionally, he has attended international training programs conducted by Bankakadamie, Frankfurt on Microfinance Management and Strategic Leadership conducted by Harvard Business School, Boston.
He has participated in programs and workshops on microcredit and was part of the team in formulating Grameen Koota’s Strategic Business Plan using Microfin Software, developed by the World Bank.
As Managing Director, Mr. Suresh continues to head Grameen Koota’s staff with a strong focus on adapting the best practices in the field of microcredit into the ever-evolving program strategy.

CFO: Mr. Madhusudan K
Madhusudan K heads corporate finance at Grameen Koota. He
comes with a cost accounting background and over 18 years of
experience in handling corporate finance in diverse sectors
including over 7 years with the social sector. His
professional strengths include financial planning, analysis
and control, operations and project management, regulatory
due diligence and corporate governance.

Head - Operations: Mr. Ramachandra Vaidya
Ramchandra Vaidya heads operations at Grameen Koota where
he oversees microfinance operations.He has over 20 years of
experience in Financial Services , setting up distribution
channels, Retail Banking and Consumer Finance.

IT/MIS Manager: A. Haridarshini
A. Haridarshini is the MIS senior specialist. Before coming to Grameen Koota, she worked at APMAS Technical Institute, focusing on ratings for Self-Help Groups (SHG) and training in Accounting, Delinquency Management and Financial Analysis. She studied Electronics and Communication Engineering at Regional Engineering College Warangal.

Manager/Individual lending: Vikash Kumar
Vikash Kumar has a BA in Arts from S. K. University, Dumaka and Post Graduate Diploma in NGO Management from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), Ahmadabad. At EDI, he specialized in management of Microfinance and Micro-enterprise development. Vikash is also the founder of the online newsletter Microfinance Focus.

AGM HR : Mr. Walter D’ Souza
Mr. Walter D’ Souza has a Post – Graduation ( MSW ) with a specialization of Human Resources from School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore. He also has an additional academic course from Indian Society for Training & Development, Delhi. He has over 17 years of experience in various industries. Mr. Walter has headed Human Resources departments at various companies including MNCs.
At Grameen Koota his goal is to motivate the employees by adapting best human relation practice, so that the workforce gives best output to the organization.

Finance Manager: Tukaram Prabhu
Tukaram Prabhu comes to Grameen Koota with over 35 years experience in banking. During his tenure at Canara Bank, Prabhu headed various branches, worked in the foreign exchange and stock exchange divisions and served as Chief Manager. He holds a BSc in Physics and Chemistry from Mysore University.

Head-Internal audit and risk Management: Mr. Purushothama
Mr.C.T.Purushothama, is a graduate in Agricultural Sciences who has put up a service of 31 years in Canara Bank. He has joined Canara Bank as Agricultural Extension Officer during 1970, as Divisional Manager at Canara Bank, Circle Office, Chandigahr, he took. VRS during March 2001.
During his tenure in Canara Bank, he has worked as Chief Manager in Bhuvsaneswara Main Branch during1994 to 1996, served as Chairman of Chitradurga Gramin Bank during 1996 to 1999, served as Chief Manager in 35 B Branch in Chandigarh and in Crcle Office, Chandigarh during 1999 to 2001.
He has served in MYRADA 2003 to 2004 as Project Coordinator in Kamalapur, Gulbarga District, in OUTREACH from 2004 to 2007 as Senior Program Officer.
He has joined GK as Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management on 19.3.2008.

Senior Financial Specialist: Mr. Ravikumar N.
Mr. Ravikumar N. has a Bachelor degree in Commerce from Bangalore University and is currently pursuing CA PE II, and MBA (final) from NIBM Chennai. Prior to coming to Grameen Koota he had served in two manufacturing companies and has more than 3 years experience.

AGM - Credit: Mr. Gopal Reddy
He joined Grameen Koota in 1999. He has vast experience in field operations as branch manager and area manager. Currently he is involved in overseeing Grameen Koota operations as well as recruiting and training new loan officers.
Mr. Reddy has visited many Microfinance Institutions in India and has undergone trainings like Accounts Management, Finance Management, Strategic Business Planning, Leadership enhancement, etc conducted by various nationally recognized institutions.

AGM – IT: Mr. Naganand
Mr. Naganand joined Grameen Koota in 2001 and worked in positions such as Branch Manager, Area Manager and MIS manager. He was also part of team which successfully implemented the Grameen Communications Portfolio Tracker software at Grameen Koota. Currently he is heading the IT team which is jointly working with Grameen Technology Center, Seattle building MIFOS - an open source MIS system.
Mr. Naganand has attended various training programs like Finance Management, Strategic Business Planning using Microfin, etc. He is committed to developing a effective MIS system for Grameen Koota.

AGM- Insurance: Mr. Srivatsa HN
Mr. Srivatsa joined Grameen Kootain 2003 as an internal audit manager and currently is overseeing the insurance department. He has strong experience in Operations handling and specifically focuses on increasing the outreach of Grameen Koota by ensuring the poor are served in a timely and sustainable manner. He has served at various levels such as Loan Officer, Branch Manager, Area Manager and Internal Audit Manager from 1999.
Mr. Srivatsa has visited numerous MFIs like Bandhan, Saadhana, Mahasevam, Share, ASA, SKS etc, and has received training in Finance Management, Accounts Management, Internal Control, Internal Audit, personality development, etc. He is committed to ensuring Grameen Koota is a sustainable and successful MFI.
